Generative Art - Animation and Prints
Auto-Prosopagnosie is a real-time generative artwork created from a complex process using a database of my own portrait photographs. The piece continuously reshapes my face, never appearing the same twice, revealing an infinite flow of fleeting identities. Inspired by a period of doubt, it explores the tension between self-recognition and inner perception.
The work exists both as an infinite animation and as printed variations, each capture preserving a unique and unrepeatable moment. This creation is part of a broader exploration of memory, perception, and our intimate reality, of what we are, as well as the fragile dichotomy between how we perceive ourselves and how we are seen by others. Like a delicate mirror, it reminds us that a glimmer of light always remains, even in the depths of the soul.
